it's beginning to look a lot like christmas

merry christmas! hope everyone is having a good winter break thus far. my time in japan is flying by so quickly- it's crazy. i still feel like i haven't had a chance to fit in everything i want to do, it's almost as stressful as school! i'm kidding. anyway, as we all know, it's now christmas in the u.s. as of a little over 3 hours ago (pacific standard time)... but it's christmas here in japan as well for a few more hours. it's hard to get the timing just right since there is such a slim timeframe in between japan's time zone and california's.
