yes it's awful, blasted boring

my favorite christmas presents, by far:

meet chloe. she was my christmas present to myself. i love her so much and couldn't be more delighted to have her join me on my daily excursions, resting gently within my handbag. (and, yes, Y and C worry greatly about the fact that i think chloe is a person rather than just a wallet. C was with me when i purchased her and had to witness me strap her into my car on the way home.)

 the shirt that Y made for me. it's beautiful and i am still utterly speechless when it comes to expressing both my gratitude for receiving the gift in the first place and my admiration of Y's talent. Y tries to shrug off how beautiful the shirt is, but her talent is pretty unmistakable.

i HATE photobooth pictures and am really embarrassed that i posted this picture, but i can't help but share with you all how beautiful the weather has been in california. it literally shifted from being gross, rainy, and gloomy to sunny and 75 degrees within two days. i've gone from wearing thick socks and sipping hot chocolate every night to wearing Y's tank top and sipping lemonade. i posted and did homework outside all day today and was as happy as a clam.
